"Violin!KLASSE!" - Concert by the violin class of Prof. Elisabeth Weber

Sunday, June 15, 2025, 5:00 p.m.

As part of the "WIR IN" concert series, this time the violin class of the Lübeck University of Music is a guest in Glücksburg. Under the direction of Prof. Elisabeth Weber, six students will present an impressive and varied program. They will perform works from the Baroque to the modern era: two virtuoso solo sonatas by Eugène Ysaye, including the Spanish-inspired Sonata No. 6 (Anh Quan Dao) and the four-movement Sonata No. 2 (Noa Weckner). Another highlight is the Violin Concerto in A major KV 219 by W. A. Mozart, performed by Anh Quan Dao. The ensemble will also perform "Verano Porteño" by Astor Piazzolla - a fiery homage to the Argentinian summer, performed by the entire class.
Performers: Anna Böhmer, Eva Westphal, Mai Kinomura, Sophia Gutdeutsch (violin & piano), Noa Weckner, Anh Quan Dao

"Gassenhauer" - chamber music with clarinet, cello and piano

Sunday, September 14, 2025, 5:00 pm

The Trio Risonante invites you to a multifaceted program of chamber music. The program opens with Ludwig van Beethoven 's famous "Gassenhauer Trio" - a lively work for clarinet, cello and piano. This is followed by Robert Schumann's expressive "Adagio and Allegro" for cello and piano, which alternates between intimate tranquillity and passionate energy. With Claude Debussy 's impressionistic "Première Rhapsodie" for clarinet and piano and the "Mozart Adagio" by Estonian composer Arvo Pärt, finely nuanced timbres become audible. The finale is the profound Clarinet Trio in A minor op. 114 by Johannes Brahms, which is moving in its late-romantic expressiveness.
An evening that unfolds the entire stylistic and emotional spectrum of chamber music.

"Watercolor - painted on stage" - Duo for violoncello and harp

Saturday, November 15, 2025, 5:00 pm

The duo51saiten combines cello and harp in a sound-painting concert full of colors and contrasts. At the center are works by French composers such as Gabriel Fauré, Lili Boulanger and Claude Debussy, whose music captivates with impressionistic subtleties. The romantic tones of Franz Schubert and Franz Strauss complement the program with lyrical warmth, while Louis Spohr's "Magic Flute Potpourri" provides a playful sparkle. A special highlight is the modern duo for cello and harp (1984) by Korean composer Isang Yun, which opens up new dimensions of sound. The harp solo "Impromptu op. 86" by Fauré demonstrates the instrument's virtuosity in its full range.
A poetic concert evening that enchants the audience like a finely drawn watercolor.
