Cycling together with MobiGlück

 

Accessibility is very important to us. Barrier-free beaches, wheelchair-accessible beach chairs and Mobichairs offer relaxing vacations for everyone. The Glücksburg region and its surroundings can now be discovered together by bike within a large radius without barriers. MobiGlück is the vehicle for freedom without limits on wheels in Glücksburg, which can be used free of charge. The tourist information office at Schinderdam acts as a rental station. MobiLuck

 

The Glücksburg MobiGlück transport bike is a VeloPlus model developed and built by a Dutch manufacturer. It has a frame height of 52 cm, 8 gears and a quiet electric motor. It is equipped with puncture-proof tires, roadworthy lighting, a built-in lock and a sturdy luggage rack, to which the slim battery is also attached. The tilting platform for the wheelchair is located between the two front tires, which makes it easy for the person in the wheelchair to get on, steer and look straight ahead.

How to use MobiGlück

Reserve our MobiGlück transport bike here via the contact form with calendar for half a day or a whole day. The Glücksburg Tourist Information team will then contact you to arrange a fixed date. If you do not have an accompanying person, you can book one. A wheelchair can also be provided. After presenting an identity card, proof of liability insurance and a deposit of 50 euros at the Glücksburg Tourist Information Office, you can use the transport bike free of charge, but please note that a test ride is required beforehand.
