In addition to the dolmen trail, there are two other beautiful hiking trails through the Friedeholz. The Friedeholz circular trail is around 6 km long and leads right through the forest and along the Pugumer See nature reserve. The start and finish is the Schauenthal parking lot in the heart of Glücksburg. From here, the route follows small roads with little traffic in the east along the forest to the imposing Weldt oak tree, which has a very special charm, especially in the fall. The route then continues to Lake Pugumer See and in a wide arc back along the nature reserve to the starting point.
You can also do a smaller loop with the family: the 1.8 km long wild boar circular trail is also easy for children to master and offers variety for the little ones too. From the Friedeholz parking lot, you first go to the wild boar enclosure, where in spring the young boars enchant not only the little visitors. The next point is the adventure playground in Friedeholz, where children can let off steam with plenty of imagination. On the way back, you can either take a slightly longer route through the beautiful forest or take the shortcut back towards the wild boar enclosure.
