The OHT has set itself the central goal of marketing the Baltic Sea region and Holstein Switzerland. When marketing the Baltic destination and the region as a whole, the focus is on achieving sustainable qualitative and quantitative growth.
The association pools existing ideas, strengths and financial resources in order to position the region as a strong brand associated with quality in Germany and internationally. The aim is to be a leading tourism organization in Schleswig-Holstein and throughout Germany. To work in close cooperation with the regional organizations and other tourism partners and to act as a representative ambassador and thus be a service provider and representative of the interests of members and other stakeholders.
As a tourist destination, the OHT invites us to take part in its marketing activities and supports us in doing so. In doing so, it focuses attention on typical topics relating to the Baltic Sea and the region with a great deal of empathy. These include, for example, sailing, surfing, kiting or stand-up paddling, beach life, the unique piers, the beach bars and much more.
The OHT has created the ostseecard, a local spa card, to give holidaymakers flexibility. 22 vacation destinations on the Baltic Sea offer their guests special discounts and benefits. We also offer you the ostseecard with all the benefits when you pay your spa tax. This not only gives you access to great partners and special offers. As a guest, you also make a lasting contribution to the maintenance and upkeep of our tourist infrastructure.
Of course, there is also a link to the special culinary delights of the coast, such as eating fish sandwiches. This year, we are once again participating with four restaurateurs in the so-called fish roll route. A wonderful initiative of the OHT, in which we are part of this most delicious mile in the north, along with other beautiful places along the Baltic Sea coast.
We are happy to inform you on this page about further activities in cooperation with the Ostsee-Holstein-Tourismus e.V. (OHT).
